Videre Spearheads Saskatchewan Innovation for Sustainable Resource Development

Saskatchewan, [December 5, 2023] – Videre, a homegrown Saskatchewan company, proudly champions innovation to harness the vast lignite resources within the Coronach, Estevan & surrounding areas. Created to navigate the Federal government’s 2030 mandate, Videre stands as a beacon for retaining skilled labor in southern Saskatchewan, diversifying local economies set to be negatively impacted by current Federal legislation.

Videre recognizes the pivotal role of repurposing lignite as a natural resource in agricultural farming practices, alternative fuels production, storage, and additional byproduct development. Videre aims to become a critical stakeholder in the circular economy currently being developed within the local community. These initiatives are critical in stabilizing the population tax base and vital services in these regions.

Todays exciting provincial funding announcement for the Town of Coronach and RM of Hart Butte, supports Videre’s forthcoming initiatives involving the completion of a detailed research report. This report serves as a guide, further advancing market direction, feasibility, demonstration plant and commercialized product potential from the region’s natural resources. Once finalized, the report will pave the way for Videre to further unveil advancements on their initiatives provincially and beyond.

In this transformative journey, Videre extends heartfelt gratitude to Premier Scott Moe, Ministers Dave Marit and Lori Carr, and the unwavering support of the Government of Saskatchewan.
